Going to Sonisphere?

So, festival season is approaching and my decided choices are Download, Sonisphere and Bloodstock.

However, there’s a problem with funding all of them so with the help of we-represent, you can have a choice to earn your tickets by selling some.

If you’re going to Sonisphere in the UK please purchase a ticket through this link, it’s all legit!

Sworn Enemy – Living On Borrowed Time album review.

Image
Sometimes you believe you are invincible but in reality there are certain people out there in our strange dark world knowing that we are “Living On Borrowed Time”, such people go by the group name of SWORN ENEMY. After a short hiatus, the band are back and ready to take Earth by storm featuring new members guitarist Matt Garzilli and bassist Mike Pucciarelli.

Now recently signed to Rock Ridge Records, SWORN ENEMY are immediately throwing out their stamp on the world with “Living On Borrowed Time” – After many changes with members and record labels, SWORN ENEMY are proving that every action they or others have done to influence such thoughts and change has been in fact for the best. “Living On Borrowed Time” naturally keeps the roots of this Hardcore band as deep as possible, SWORN ENEMY know what they want and as Sal LoCoco belts out in “No Apologies” – “Stay true to yourself and never lose focus” they prove that they have abided by their own rule.

Everything about “Living On Borrowed Time” is what people expect Hardcore to be – Fast, furious, heavy and as monstrous as possible and something that just makes you lose all your waste and go crazy. If an album can make you do that, then you know it’s a success and will remain a memorable release to both artist and fan, SWORN ENEMY have just done that with this. From start to finish on “Living On Borrowed Time”, there isn’t a single moment you don’t feel like banging your head and going nuts.

Whilst all tracks are heavy and just about as brutal as an OAP on Meth (Yes, that is pretty brutal) “Broken Hope” and “One Eye Open” take the album by storm and just throw out 110% of what SWORN ENEMY have had to offer with this release. “Living On Borrowed Time” overall is a brilliant example to music fans all over the world just how incredible Hardcore music can actually be. It’s influenced by Thrash, Punk and pure Heavy Metal and infuse that to help create this genre? Well you can’t go wrong – SWORN ENEMY have just proven that.

There is simply nothing better than heavy music (unless of course you prefer a bit of ABBA in your pyjamas drinking tea) and if you’re a fan of everything heavy, “Living On Borrowed Time” won’t disappoint you, if it does, you haven’t banged your head enough.

Rating – 9/10
